Author Rinchen Chodak reached this conclusion after facilitating many energetic healings and noticing the deep spiritual presence that began to emerge after each client session. In her latest book The Universal Healing Art of JING-QI-SHEN, Chodak challenges all healing practitioners to a Ministry of Healing. The Mission - "to bring health and wholeness to the world."
The writer's premise is that a Ministry of Healing starts with an attitude of reaching out not only to the body, but also to the spiritual essence of the client, regardless of the healing tradition or modality being used.
"As a healing facilitator I stand in the loving gap of pure potentiality for my client. I am not concerned with the outcome, I just perform my healing repertoire in a pure space of love knowing that Divine Essence will take care of the rest."
What is Jing-Qi-Shen? Jing-Qi-Shen is named after the San Bao, or Three Treasures, common in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The English translation would be Essence-Energy-Spirit. Based on ancient Chinese, Tibetan, and Ayurvedic practices, Jing-Qi-Shen is often thought to be the forerunner of Reiki.
Jing-Qi-Shen is a deeply compassionate and peaceful healing art, teaching the practitioner to move aside personal ego in order to become a pure loving conduit of Universal Healing Energy. It combines elements of the Meridian System as found in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Energy Healing, and Medical Intuition.
Says Chodak. "The word ministry comes from the Latin - ministerium, which means the act of serving. As a Healing Ministry, the healing practitioner's mission is to heal the body, the mind, the perceptions, and the prejudices in order to bring spiritual wholeness. To do this is to touch and heal the heart of the world."
